Personal Legacy Advisor Ron Ware has been involved in leadership and economic development initiatives in Haiti, both before and since the devastating January 2010 earthquake. As a key member of the team from Community Covenant Church (Rehoboth, MA) that sponsored Haiti’s first Global Leadership Summit in 2007, Ron has been instrumental in guiding that program to the point where indigenous Haitian leaders are now responsible for recruiting participants and presenting the annual leadership training conference.
Following the 2010 earthquake, Ron helped raise funds for immediate relief efforts that were deployed through Haitian contacts. He also has been part of the financial planning team for a long-term economic development program in Chambrun, Haiti that is designed to create a sustainable model for local employment and economic development.
