The 2016 Global Leadership Summit
We would like to use this issue of The Activator to share some timely information about the upcoming 2016 Global Leadership Summit that takes place on August 11 and 12. It is an event that you really ought to consider joining us for, as it has become a highlight of my summer for the last 15 years. It is unequivocally, in my humble opinion, one of the best leadership development events available and every year seems better than the last. I most appreciate how effectively it connects to both the heads and hearts of leaders. The speakers’ talks remind me of the very best TED talks, motivating and empowering individuals through combined intellectual, emotional, and spiritual levels. This is unabashedly a “Christian” leadership event, but at the same time, it has consistently and intentionally been open to people of all faiths. By design, the program has purposefully connected to all cultural segments without regard to faith background. As Bill Hybels, the founder of the Willow Creek Association that produces this event each year, has said from the beginning, we all can learn from each other without regard to faith background. The truth is, when leaders are growing and getting better, everything they touch in their family life, their workplace, and their community also has a much better chance of improving as well.

All I can say is the Global Leadership Summit has had a tremendous influence on my life and the lives of so many others who have attended, both personally and professionally.
