You Can Do More that Matters Book Launch Party
Wealth Impact Partners recently hosted a “book launch” party to celebrate the publication of You Can Do More That Matters, a book co-authored by WIP founder and president Ron Ware. Bryant University’s Bello Hall was transformed into a festive venue for Ron and co-author Greg Hammond to read book excerpts illustrating three key concepts in the book: dream more – plan better – take action.
Ron extended his gratitude to the family, friends, and clients who inspired him to write the book – a two-year process than included recording an audio version. Following dinner and a book trailer video featuring Ron and Greg expressing the book’s inspiring message, the authors signed complimentary copies for the family, friends, and guests who attended.
The opportunity to write a book that explains this unique approach to life and legacy planning began when Ron and Greg met at a professional conference and they recognized their individual approaches to wealth management were both non-traditional and complimentary. Their collaboration has resulted in a book that the authors hope will encourage readers to think differently about their money and their passion. Their goal, expressed in the book’s introduction is, “To motivate you to assess what you are capable of doing to address the concerns and needs that move you… to act differently as you discover what you’re actually able to do. Our goal is to get you more engaged in making a bigger and better impact on the people, causes, and organizations you care about most. In short, we hope to help you to live more and give more.”
As part of the book launch, WIP pledged a match to any donations made during the event to the San Miguel School of Providence, RI. San Miguel is an independent Lasallian middle school for urban boys from the Greater Providence area, dedicated to the belief that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. School representatives showed a video featuring San Miguel students talking about their experience and describing how the school had changed their attitudes about learning and positively impacted their lives.
