Why? An Important Question We All Ought To Answer!

As we embark on 2016 and prepare for what we hope will be a year of personal growth and learning, new experiences, and deepening relationships, we think it’s a really perfect time to encourage our readers to answer an important question for themselves – Why?

What’s it all about for you (it = your success in life; money and so much more)? What’s your personal why? What drives and motivates you most? If you can begin to see your Why more clearly, this can become a very powerful motivator and guide, as you choose your path and create new plans for the future. With this in mind, we’d like to lead by example by using this first issue of 2016 as an opportunity to share our Why, and what leads us each month to create this valuable tool that we call The Activator. 

As personal legacy advisors, Wealth Impact Partners’ mission is to provide genuine care to the individuals and families that we serve, by objectively and creatively helping them to become more alive and free with regard to their life and their money. Our hope and prayer is that The Activator would help readers like you to pause more, read more, and reflect more, ultimately becoming crystal clear about what you truly care about. And, in doing so, that we’d motivate you to do all you can to truly appreciate your full capacity (financial and otherwise), so that you’ll actually be able to go and do more of these things. Our greatest achievement is found in catalyzing you and others to create more fulfilling and impactful lives. A positive and beneficial legacy only continues beyond us, if we gave life to it while we were living.

The Activator is a dynamic space where we can regularly share fresh perspectives, innovative strategies, and compelling real life stories to educate, inspire, and empower people. As we enter 2016, we’ve committed the requisite time and resources to ensure that we can produce The Activator predictably, every two weeks, so that we can make a bigger impact with this regular publication. We would like to kindly ask that you consider giving this regular publication your attention by not deleting it, but by taking the couple of minutes needed to read it each time. Additionally, please provide us with your feedback, good or bad, so that we can improve it’s effectiveness over time.

The Activator will seek to share actual narratives of individuals and families modeling for you, through their varied lives and different situations, how you can ‘activate’ more that matters to you by planning and protecting your financial independence to do all that you want to. Other stories will depict the impact that’s possible when you’re clear and confident in your ability to give more to your families, loved ones, and perhaps certain causes and organizations. We’ll also regularly share innovative strategies and techniques that people like you are using within their own planning, as well as positive and inspiring worldviews, to help you rise above the steady stream of doom and gloom we seem to be deluged with daily. We will feel blessed and successful if we are able to get you and others to “think bigger” through each bi-weekly post.

If you like what we’re describing and are eager to dive into more of this kind of thinking, perhaps you might consider reading Ron’s book, You Can Do More That Matters or The New Retirementality by Mitch Anthony, and learn how to take greater command of your future by starting to think differently and plan better for a future on your own terms. It really needs to be about so much more than just money and ‘retirement.’ You ought to settle for nothing less than a future in which you can keep creating value for yourself and for others. Anything else, quite frankly, is a slow form of dying. We’re thinking that you, like us, have more life, experience, relationship, peace, enjoyment, and fulfillment in mind, right? Sticking with your status quo approach, way of thinking, and current planning may not bring you to this place. If so, we encourage you to reevaluate how you might be able to take things to the next level.

In our next issue, we’ll be sharing a concept that’s become a foundational part of our practice. We call it LifePrintPlanning. One of the things we work hard to impress upon our clients through our planning process, is it’s about so much more than just money; if you can begin to think and become intentional with your life and your money, you will increase your chances for making the meaningful mark on your family, your community and beyond that you desire. You see, it’s about the impact we make with all we have to offer, which includes our skills, experiences, relationships, knowledge, passions, and yes, also our money. We hope to challenge you this year to learn more and do more with the new mindsets that we put forth in The Activator.
